The Last Light (Immortalfox) Chapter 2

I darted up the stairs before my dad could see me. I ran into my room and locked the door as normal, though it didn't help because my dad had a secret key hidden somewhere in the    house.

I threw my backpack down on the floor and sat in my computer chair. I had a really old and slow pc computer but it was the best we could get. I got on skype and searched Eddie's name. I found it and he had the user name or SlyFoxHound. I added him and saw he accepted it within a few minutes. He started to type.

"Hey." He said simply.

"Sup?" I replied.

"Playin' minecraft. Do you want to play with me? We could call eachother on here and talk while we play."

"Ya ok let me login."

I got logged into minecraft and pulled up skype. I hit the call button. I rang for a few seconds then the Puerto Rican's smiling face popped up.

"Hi. My sever name is The Homie Server." He smiled then  heard him change tabs, onto mincraft.

"Alright I'll be on in a second." I said then clicked over to minecraft but dragged the skype screen to be really small and in the corner of my screen so I could see his smiling, preepy, and excited face.

I saw the server and joined. I looked around and found a guy name xxslyxx, it had to be him.

"Is this you dude?" I asked as I used my character, ImmortalHD, to hit him.

"Ow! You fuck!" He giggled again. It was so cute. "Yes that's me!"

"I was just checking even though I could tell from the skin." I said laughing before I went off somewhere in the woods of the square world.

His skin had a purple shirt with a large green 'Hipo', as he called them, on the front. We sat and had a bunch of random conversations for about and hour or so before there was a banging on my door with yelling.

"Aleks!? You worthless little shit! What are you doing in there!?" It was my dad, drunker then ever.

"Aleks? Are you ok? Who is that?" Eddie said, sounding very worried.

"No one. I'm fine but I have to go." I replied rapidly.

"Aleks! Is that a boy I hear in your room?! Did you get a new boyfriend again?! You are so gay!" My dad yelled.

I flinched and looked at the screen where Eddie was. He had blushed and was wide eyed.

"Who is that? Aleks? What does he mean 'new boyfriend'." Eddie was speaking faster and more worriedly now.

"It's no one. They don't mean anything. Bye Eddie." I blushed now and moved my mouse to the end call button.

"Wait, Aleks! Are yo-" He was cut off as I hung up and went to the door.

I waited there and thought for a minute. Then I opened it to see my dad with an entire bottle of Jack Daniels in his hand... it was almost empty.

"What were doing in there boy!? You should have been doing something useful with your life! He yelled right in my face and I could smell the whiskey.

"Like what? Serving you?" I asked then immediatly regretted it.

He threw the bottle down and grabbed my wrist tightly. He dragged me down the stairs and spun me to throw me against one of the walls. I let out a small whimper but knew better then to complain. It would make it worse.

"What was that?! Did I hear you talk back to me?!" He yelled again as he gave me a slap across the face.

It was a hard enough slap that I felt my nose start bleeding and my head jerk to the side. I let out another whimper but silently.

"Well!? Have you learned your lesson?!" I nodded quickly as I turned to face him again. "Good! Now go be useful and help your mother!" He stalked off to his room and I ran into the kitchen.

I didn't dare cry around my mother cause I knew she got hit almost more often then I did.

"Mom? Are you ok? Did he hit you again?" I asked, going up and inspecting her arms.

"Not this time. He said that I was cooking one of the few meals he liked that I make." He said looking down.

"Your cooking is all delicious. He doesn't know what is good in this world." I smiled at her when she looked up.

"Thank you, Aleks. It is ready when you are." I nodded and made my plate.

Me and her sat at the table and I told her about my new friends. She knew I was gay so I especially told her about Eddie and how we talked and played minecraft earlier. We finished and I went up to my room. I layed down and tried to sleep. I kept thinking about how Eddie heard my dad ask if I had a new boyfriend. Did that send a hit to him that I was gay? I sure hope it didn't.
